Jeff Smith, ETN-2 served aboard the USS Forster, DER-334 on Deep Freeze 63.  Jeff sent in Otago Daily Times article and photo from Jan. 63. To date, Jeff is the  only USS Forster crewmember located (Oct, 2001).

Ron Haggard served as an ETR-SN aboard USS Calcaterra during Deep Freeze 65-66. After almost 39 years Ron rang my phone in Colorado and we met at his home in April, 2005. For the past 30 years it seems that Ron and I have crossed paths, but didn't know we were so close to one another.

Dave White was an RD-3 aboard USS Calcaterra during the 1965-66 Deep Freeze deployment. Dave sent along several images.
